About me

I grew up in New England and moved to Brooklyn in 1999. I have a background in fine art and earned my BFA from the School of Visual Arts in 2002, where I focused on printmaking, sculpture, and installation. Photography has been a creative outlet for me since childhood, and in 2008 I completed The International Center of Photography's photojournalism program. In between I traveled extensively in Europe, South East Asia, Mexico, and lived in Japan.

My photography is inspired by these explorations as well as a desire to connect with people and tell stories.

I now live near Prospect Park with my partner and our greyhound, Ivy.
