About Me
I have a background in fine art and earned my BFA from the School of Visual Arts in 2002, where I focused on printmaking, sculpture, and installation. Photography has been a creative outlet for me since childhood, and in 2008 I completed The International Center of Photography's photojournalism program. In between I traveled extensively in Europe, South East Asia, Mexico, and lived in Japan.
My photography is inspired by these explorations as well as a desire to connect with people and tell stories.
Clients include: The New York Times, The New Yorker, City Magazine, Bob Magazine (Korea), Newsday, The Center for Global Affairs, Scholastic, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Roxy Paine, The KIPP Foundation, and The Posse Foundation.
